Updated: RSS Space was purchased! One reader from my list has purchased a space, I have advertise the space far cheaper to my subscribers. I also explained if out bought the current users feed will be replaced. Get yours now, before the weekend is over and prices goes up!

I have just finished a small project that I have been working on and its working great. Ever since I got banned from Google, which now I am reinstated. I have looked for other ways to sell space or optimize my page. As you can see to the right of this post, you will notice a box with my current RSS feeds. I am actually advertising my own RSS feeds within my site.

With the proper Adsense placement within this post – it is definitely a great spot for advertising such feeds, especially yours or others. I am currently selling this specific spot for 1 RSS feed URL. The price for this new launch is 27 dollars. I will be increasing the price soon, because I have been getting great clicks on my adsense reports prior. I also wanted to imitate BlogRush a little – and thought this is a great idea.

What is great with this new concept, it will display 3 of your most recent post title, category, and date it was published. I left out descriptions because some have full feeds which will destroy my layout and the purpose of this RSS ad spot. The display is very similar to an adsense style layout and is more captivating with the dashed bordered lines. If you are interested, please visit my advertise portion of my blog.

This is a nice Idea. Really innovative and no one have done this before. I wonder if you do it manually or using some product to display the feed. :)

thanks! its actually very automated with OIOPublisher – except I just have to enter the RSS feed manually – which is no problem because I get reminders from the OIOPub system

What plugin or code do you use to install this in your posts?? I love the idea, and I want it to look exactly like you have yours.

Thanks, I’m considering purchasing your RSS spot but the numbers are still too expensive for passing along blog traffic.

$27 / 200 extra visitors a month is $0.135/visitor. You can get StumbleUpon traffic to your blog for $0.05 each.

Or, you can just get that traffic for FREE by using the TrafficWarpCore community. The community can even send 2000+ visitors now if you’d like.

Anyway, great blog Ian. You’re near the top of my RSS list and it’s this kind of innovative traffic marketing that I enjoy.

Oh, sorry for double post, but AGloco is dead. They just recently said they’ll pay you out over ten years.

So, if you’re said to get paid $80 in a month, they’ll divide that over ten years and it’ll look more like $0.66.

And that is if they let you cash in your hours after…blah blah blah… and after you…blah blah… do you see the point?

My recommendation is to replace your AGLOCO ad space for something else more lucrative. You have great ad space there getting wasted.

    Thanks again.

I love the idea! I will look into automating it entirely through OIOpublisher for you.

I think it is a good idea that could also be a hit with a lot of the bigger blogs. Selling off a space for short periods of time – could produce a lot more clicks than something like adsense if its a relevant feed.
