Blog Carnival has been bringing me some steady traffic, which is wonderful, but I was under the impression that you had to participate with another blog category. Mine is listed in music, but I can't find any guitar sites at blog carnival, so is it fair to start something like that.
I know that's a stupid question, but I just need someone to relieve my fears, because I have found blog carnival's FAQ to be a bit confusing.
Do you have to host a site that other people can post to? or can you be selfish and just submit your articles, and then they can tag along at a carnival? any help with this would be awesome!!

> desty
agreed - not a lot of bloggers know the potential of carnivals and its usage, gathering more exposure is great and especially if you have pillar articles that are timeless even better

I love blog carnivals! Most of my pillar content is what can be considered timeless, so I can submit to various carnivals articles from months ago and they're still relivant. I totally agree, if you're not sumitting atleast 1 article per week to a carnival, you're not trying, or need to write more articles!
