I have been receiving emails about my affiliate system. It seems bloggers or affiliate marketers are hesitant to join because its either its hard to understand. Well I decided to do a small video on how it works. You can view it here.

But before you do that here are some tips on affiliate marketing and why its the most easiest way to earn money on the internet. These are my experiences and views on them. I have done fairly well with them and I think its the best way to earn your quick dollar.

Wiki explains affiliate marketing as:

Affiliate marketing is a method of promoting web businesses (merchants/advertisers) in which an affiliate (publisher) is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, and/or sale provided through his/her efforts.

Affiliate marketing is also the name of the industry where a number of different types of companies and individuals are performing this form of internet marketing, including affiliate networks, affiliate management companies and in-house affiliate managers, specialized 3rd party vendors and various types of affiliates/publishers who utilize a number of different methods to advertise the products and services of their merchant/advertiser partners.

I enjoy affiliate marketing because it easily creates the income that is needed for someone that is just starting on the internet. Once you find your target market you can find so many affiliate programs that need more traffic to their product or services. These publishers are willing to pay good money for that traffic as long as they purchase their services or product. Its a reward. Let me tell you my first affiliate experience.

I started when I was in high school (so many, many years back), I was into video games, the gameboy especially. I was playing pokemon. I decided to make a webpage about pokemon. It was just a small side errand I did once I came back from school. I would log on and just post some new tricks I found within my game and what I learned from my friends.

Within sometime my page became so popular, I was communicating with so many gamers. I did not know I was networking, I was just making friends. Then one day I received an email stating they would pay me to just add a banner on my angelfire and geocity(remember that!) host. It was an affiliate system for posters. I did fairly well with it. I mean it was an extra maybe $20 dollars a month, but that would be good enough for a high school kid!

I wish I knew how I received the amount of traffic back in the day.

But receiving that experience got me going on to more affiliate marketing, then college hit me and I took a break, but I am back! Well that is my little reminiscing about my past.

But my affiliate blog system has a very unique twist to it, you can read more here and view the video intro here. (Video Viwable in IE ONLY, sorry)
