Scratchback is cool. You might be interested to know there is a similar widget available at http://www.bringabuddy.net. It allows for link sales as well as rewarding visitors for referralsâ€¦

you got a unique name there! I got the widget up, but I may have to take it down - just because of the commission on the backend is pretty high, I was going to make my own header and footer for it as well, but after my first sale I was a little surprise to see the cut

Good to see you got your widget up. I got mine up as well. You should check out the customization option where you can include your logo! It’s pretty cool.

After seeing how it initially works…im slighlty disappointed.

Why? Because I was expecting something more than the bidding method for link directories translated in minature onto blogs. I read some of the pre-release info on it - which talked about user interaction - and that actually raised my expectations. I thought maybe it might be something a little different.

Nothing wrong with link sales of course, and this is another way to do it, but I see this becoming “yet another widget”. Only difference being its driven by cash instead of (supposed) relevance, which I think may not be in its favour in the long run.

That’s just my first impressions…as I say, I was expecting a little more, which is why my comments seem somewhat negative!
