I think if there are lots of 404s, Google might think that your site is having a problem - not sure though. Nonetheless, that was the only thing I did and my PR came back up. Actually I didn’t think that the 404s could be a cause at first until I saw those tons of 404s. I think if there are lots of 404s, Google might think that your site is having a problem – not sure though. Nonetheless, that was the only thing I did and my PR came back up. In a matter of days, Google reported 3000+ 404 errors on my site so I decided to take action on it. Now my PR is back up to PR4 - still one notch less from the original PR5. When the news first broke everyone was up in arms and accusing Google of breaking the Internet and now they're posting funny stuff about it. Well, some of us are anyway ;) By the way, when did you install the new theme? I hope it was in the last couple of hours or something otherwise it'll give away how long it is since I last visited!
