The Start of FaceBook Advancements

I have been receiving a lot of emails about Facebook traffic. My post about receiving traffic from Facebook brought up a stir of questions from readers. Some of you have asked me to go more in depth about using the marketplace, using the status update and the organization of the profile page. So what I have decided to do is all next week I will create a strategy that I use to either sell or get traffic from Facebook.

Each day I will post 1 strategy that I use. These strategies have worked for me and can work for you as well. I remember back in the day when MySpace was popular I use to market on there until it just became way too complicated.

MySpace was just cluttered and easily hackable that I did not want to deal with it anymore. With Facebook, it’s more controlled. It is simple and non-cluttered. There are so many interactive ways with FaceBook you do not even know if you have discovered everything about it. Everyday someone is creating a plugin which creates more of an interaction with users and FaceBookers <- is that a word?

I found not a lot of users or marketers are using FaceBook to help with their source of income. I do not spam users; all my friends are actually my friends or bloggers I have met. I do not want to bother others just to force them to buy something. That is not the key to internet marketing, forcing someone to grab a freebie or forcing others buy something is not the key and it will NEVER work.

With the Start of FaceBook Advancements I will talk about the following:

  1. Properly Using the MarketPlace
  2. Using the Blog Friends Plugin and Other Plugins
  3. Interacting with Darren Rowse and John Chow
  4. The Beauty of your Status
  5. Organization and Structure of your Profile

These are the 5 things I will be speaking of next week. One topic per day, so stay tuned!
