Browsing through Cnet.com I found a very interesting piece of information and its has to do with twitter. Do you know what Twitter is? What about TwitterGram?

Twitter, the very latest blogging craze that lets you share very brief (usually one line) “twitters” about what you’re doing at this moment. Twitter describes itself as a “global community of friends and strangers” answering one question: “What are you doing right now?”

Twitter is a community of friends and strangers from around the world sending updates about moments in their lives. Friends near or far can use Twitter to remain somewhat close while far away. You can submit your twitters via text messaging, email, or via the website.

But this new thing I found on Cnet.com is called TwitterGram.

WebWare (which is part of Cnet) has posted:

It’s a voice version of Twitter (more coverage): You record a brief audio clip (200K max), and Twittergram puts it on a server and creates a Twitter post (a “tweet”) that links to it. Twittergrams can be posted to your own personal Twitter account as well as to a public collection of Twittergrams (mobile version).

It uses your twitter account to verify/authenticate and cross reference with your twitter account. This service currently restricts people from sending more than one twittergram every 10 minutes to combat spam. This looks very interesting and I thought it would be a good add to my blog, since I myself have a Twitter account. I am not very active on twitter, I only joined to do some testing and some traffic analysis.

Download Squad has a great step by step on how it works, I have yet to try this. They even say:

Sending your brief recorded thoughts on your mobile (kind of a micro podcast) to the web is a saweeeet innovation. And it’s incredibly easy.

This extra function with Twitter and TwitterGram may be put to good use. Again, Web 2.0 is approaching the more interactive we are it seems we understand and interact with each other more easily and readily.
