Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing at all, well…not always, but what about keeping the information on your card as simple as possible? State your name, your website, your phone number, and a short, one-sentence about what you can help the customer with.

I’m aftraid my business card does no such thing. I think in the end it does matter.

But I have never been able to hit a good combination and I think is hurting me in the long run.

It is all about standing out from the crowd. I am not sure how important the actual design or the information you put on the card was, but what was important is that you did something different as opposed to just conforming to the norm.
