I’ve noticed this. The more I get into SEO and trying to get my company ranked highly the harder it becomes because of blogs.

Were a financal company and it is quite difficult to battle against the big boys and blogs sometimes slow us down or can even hide decent content. A well written article should always come above a blog that was posted 5 mins agon in my opinion.

Hi Ian!

I’m blown away with the speed that G finds my WP posts and displays them on the SERPs – under an hour in some cases.

Which brings to mind the Question, “What is the point of Blog Search?”. If the blog info is instantly displayed inside the normal G search.

I’ve been quite amazed myself at how powerful and fast blogs get indexed into the engines… mainly Google. I wouldn’t be surprised if your video moves up on this list, since Google likes listing their YouTube content.
