So Affiliate Summit Boston 2008 is nearing by and there is still a lot of things I need to get together. I thought I have learned from all the other conventions but apparently I didn’t. So you know I love networking and I love to meet new people. Well from adTech and Affiliate Summit West, trying to network outside of the host hotel and into parties was hard. you have bass and people bumping into you while you are trying to have a mutual conversation. I have decided to counter that and have a dinner with trusted people I am good friends with and even new affiliates or friends.

Welcome IANteract Dinner of 2008

So this dinner I wanted it to be a fairly small but ‘networkable’ dinner. I have invited a couple of my closest internet friends to the dinner as well as their recommendation of friends. I am only inviting and have already reserve dinner at a nice place across from the Seaport Hotel. First, I have limited the dinner table to 15 people and also chose a pretty pricey restaurant but good food.

This dinner should inspire others and also help others interact more so with people among their peers. The dinner is more for serious networkers and I want to network that is what I do. You really can not network with ’strippers on your lap’ or loud bass hitting your ear drums. I have learned from private dinners and loud party bangers. There is a time to have fun and there is a time to get serious. With having the dinner prior to the Share a Sale party and early in the night is more than enough for others to network seriously and party as well.
