However, the first paragraph is a critical one because if it doesn't grab my attention then most likely I won't make the effort to read the entire thing. What matters is whether I find the post useful. It could be a one sentence post giving me a tip that is really useful or a link to a great resource. Or it could be a 1000 word post giving details on a particular strategy or commentary. As long as you have the audience's interest in mind, you'll do fine.
