I am new here referred by Net Fool's link luv post, and This was a great post, valuable and hilarious at the same time, I like your sarcasm.

First, NeverBlue has more expirations than the morgue, REALLY GAY!
This was some great information for me as I was looking for a case study for My Space... I think will try it out now and do some runs.

Thanks

> PPC
this is my first run - but 1of the offers I split tested banners and the 300 * 250 on dating did better than the 728 * 90. I am actually re running with new age range with the 300 banner size

> Brandon
would you say a weeks worth is bad testing? I usually do a weeks worth of testing just because of day difference

@Anthony

Those CTRs are very low, you should try and rework your ads. Try new headlines, call to actions, images, and background colors. You really want your ads to be over > .1%.

You also have to remember that you only tested a small amount of clicks. it could have been a bad hour, or bad part of the day. For me, I do the bulk of my conversions after 4PM EST, but it will vary depending on the offer.

If you are trying to advertise to a younger demographic, college kids, those sorts of people, it make sense. A lot of the ads I see up there are for losing weight or going to online college. What are 20 something girls and guys worried about? looking their best and going to college. So I guess if you have a site for losing weight or going to college you are good to go. Otherwise, get someone else. :P

I'm running a few campaigns, but none of the are converting. Here are two of them.

campaigns: dating, model/actor search
budget: $25
flight date: 10/08 - 12/08
cost/click: .37 (suggested minimum)

dating stats: 13k impr, 5 clicks, .0003% CTR, 0 conversions

model/actor stats: 89k impr, 33 clicks, .0004% CTR, 0 conversions

does anyone have any suggestions on how I should retarget, rebid, rebudget, etc. to improve my clicks and conversions? not sure what else I can do as there’s not much you can do as far as fine tuning your target audience. they have basic demographic filters, but nothing really granular. I might have to swap the ads out and keep trying different ones...maybe myspace traffic truly is just junk…anyone have any good experience?
