Was reading the other post "Originator of my Brand - Stop Pointing". I notice you do it in all of your photos. Even with a drink in your hand. Consistency will weed out the bitters.

Oh cool Ian, I can't believe you remember what I said. But I also have noticed you awesome jersey style. I love your argyle sweaters and vest. The more I read from you and the more I get to know you, you are branding yourself as someone to be trusted. You are becoming successful because you are very honest, and open in sharing your knowledge and you are such a giving person. I mean I had people take on new attendees at the Affiliate Summit, and possibly two, but you took on three or four. Plus you were speaking and very very busy trying to make the best out of the Summit for yourself also. They talk about transperancy alot at this summit. Transperancy builds trust, trust builds return customers, and the word spreads. You are becoming very successful because you are passionate about what you are doing, and you are who you are. The pointy fingers just adds that special "Zing" to your already awesome character. I really enjoyed meeting you and I am glad I got to sit in on the session of the panel you were on. Thanks for everything Ian.

Great post.

The web is now highly personality driven--even more so on blogs.

One thing I've noticed is that my "self" brand is not only what people say about me, it's what I say about myself. People reflect back to me the things I tell them I am. It's a very powerful truth.
