As you know keywords are very important to search marketing, affiliate marketing, blog marketing, etc. Online marketing is dependent on keywords. With PPC you want to use specific keywords or targeted keywords that will take action, usually they are the long tail keywords.

Keywords are very important with Google Adwords, MSN, and Yahoo Search. Using such long tail or more specific keywords can help you convert better, it is true. So when you take a huge list of 10,000 keywords you want to filter through them. In the past I have shown you several ways to filter keywords via excel and today I am going to show you another way!

Sometimes with having a generic term, gives you a huge possibility of keywords – but what if you want keywords that only contain 3 words within the key phrase? For example you only want keywords that have more than 2 words: weight loss gimmicks is an example. Sometimes having such a huge list can stop you from filtering through and just importing high volume words which may not convert.

Well with the power of excel, you can easily sort through the junk and find only words that contain 3 or more words within your keyword list. You can find 5 or more or limit it to just 5 words, you can sort and filter to your needs. Below is the video and how to create find a list of keywords and filtering it via Excel. It is that simple, you can just find what set of words you want to use for the top 3 search engines. Filtering by amount of keywords definitely helps you with what kind of keywords to use and the length of them. It gives you a good idea of what others may take action on those keywords, giving you an advantage to think of more keywords.
