What Is Your Business Model?

I meant to post this video like a week ago when a specific situation happened to me. So I think it is appropriate now since we are going into 2009. I have been very busy with a lot of new things and I have been contacted to work on other projects. So what will be my focus i 2009? Will it still be affiliate marketing? info marketing? will I start going heavy on email marketing? What will I be focusing on?

There are a lot of things that I like to do and after making money, your brain just starts to think of ways to make money without doing more work. I honestly can say that as I progress and improved I became more and more lazy. I use to do all the hard work, websites, content, all that. Now I outsource 90% of my work load and focus on the marketing aspect.

Why have I become like this? I think it is human nature, you struggle first because you want to accomplish something. Once it is accomplished you want to do little as possible. I simply remember doing website designs and now I get others to make it for me. This is a great example of AFFpinions.com, if I can bank off others hard work why not? It requires little work on my part, just the promotion of AFFpinions.com.

I am also working on a new web service for beginners to start earning some income via affiliate marketing which is a very simple concept but which no one has taken any attempt. This will be a new company of mine, and only 2 people knows about it, 3 including programmer. I am also working on another company for social marketing, which should be killer as a start up. So my imagination is running wild and I am tackling them all at once. The reason why I think I need to re think what my business model should be for 2009.

With so many things that I can possibly do, I can’t do them all. I need to focus on certain aspects of my business and decide how I want to tackle it. Maybe I will still focus on my other money making schemes but not as heavy? I am stuck in the road as to what to do, where I should stop and how to start.

That is why I want to know what your business model is. Do you just do affiliate marketing? Do you just do email marketing? Do you just do info marketing? What is your model? How do you make money? Focusing on too many things definitely throws me off.

So where should I focus in 2009? I have 2 web services I want to launch, which will be a killer startup. I just need to know how to focus on just that or maybe focus on that but focus on the smaller things as well? ehh watch the video!

My focus in 09 will be Viral Marketing – I’m going Viral and with the viral traffic I plan to promote some affiliate products and perhaps even launch my own media company….lets see how it rolls out.

Maybe starting your own social network for your target market and drive traffic to your product or services from your own members…I run a pretty large social network that has made me some good cash – i used the phpfox social networking script and it has paid off nicely….so i guess what I am saying is tap into the social network market build your membership and make more money that way.

My business model is to continue to build up my website’s brand by providing my subscribers and visitors with excellent content. By doing this, will allow to increase my user base while gaining authority in my niche. I feel that you should try to cater your business around your customers needs.

Having a good business model should be the number 1 objective.

These days you need to stand out from the crowd.

On the late night when I have the munchies, Insomnia Cookies will deliver me cookies and brownies straight to my door.

That is an example of a good business model that succeeds.

At least in a college town it does…

I know it’s not a website, but all I’m saying is you need a great imagination to make REAL money in this game.

Unless you want to be a lame ass biter, swagger jackin’ everyone’s shit. Even then don’t expect too much…

I’m with you on that Donny. Become an authority in your niche. I think once you have done that, the best model would be a membership site. Create a library of premium content that you only have to build once and give your subscribers access to it for a membership fee. I’m building 2 of these for my niches. It’s guaranteed money every month.

The only thing I don’t like about affiliate marketing is doing the keyword research, tweaking landing pages, optimizing the ppc campaigns, testing, analyzing, more testing and more analyzing. Only to see a a good 1-2 month hit then a fizzle. That hurts. Especially if your not outsourcing all of that.

I have a simple answer. Focus on something that offers a recurring income. Recurring income is where its at.

agreed with the ad hustler. you need to find a product/service that you can do well and charge a recurring fee. there is no other way unless you like to take risks with campaigns

My business model has mostly been affiliate sites and ads (mostly AdSense). Most of my sites peaked out around 2007. I really need to rethink my business model… something with higher profit margins. Maybe I need to find some products to dropship or something… but everything is so ridiculously competitive these days.
