I agree that no other extension would be easier to remember than a .COM. But, we should also see the reasons behind people choosing other extensions. Subscribe to "Domainers Magazine" every month they post the top selling domains for the month and the year. Many of them are ccTLDs, .mobis, .net domains.... I agree .com's resonate and I would put my offers on .com's because they seem to have more trust, but I wouldn't ignore the value of other TLDs There is a TON of money in TLDs that aren’t .coms.
