I agree. It seems like you can always get more done in a shorter amount of time and enjoy yourself more when you meet face-to-face.

I used to own a business where 13 local people worked for me from their homes. Once every month we would meet up at a restaurant (I bought the food) and we all talked about how things were going, what’s in store for the future, and bounced ideas back and forth.

Things always worked out great from that.

Its always nice to take the online world…offline from time to time. We have bin running a boston seo and affiliate marketing meetup group for a few years now at http://www.BostonSEO.org

Some attend just to be able to talk to people face to face, after spending way to many hours in front of the computer and not talking to the outside “real” world. Others come to get real advice from people that will share with the group vs posting there secrets of whats working for seo and affiliate marketing online.

This is the best source of information for someone who intends to become a successful internet marketer.

I’m having a great time in those meetups and I feel bad I couldn’t hang out with the guys after the last meetup. Maybe in the next one when can do something nice after the meetup.

@Ad Hustler – TOTALLY agree. I can’t talk to my wife, I can’t tell my co-workers how I made more online last month than my check from my workplace. NO CLUE

Another good reason for these meetups is that you get to talk to other people who share the same passions as you do. My outside friends have no interest in hearing about affiliate marketing. At least when you make some friends in the industry, you can talk to people who do care what you have to say about this stuff.
