Facebook Gave Out Strategies

… and I am giving it to you. Well if you were at Affiliate Summit you would probably gotten a free USB drive which is cheap cause it was only 128mb. Others like buy.at were 1gig! But in any case I plugged the USB in and to my surprise there are some docs on there that are useful. Like targeting and utilizing age and birthdays.

So guess what since it has been several days since Affiliate Summit I have decided to just give you the documents to the docs that Facebook provided. There are 7 documents which Facebook provided I will just give them to you. This is why you should attend Affiliate Summit, free good information!

I think it’s great that Facebook added content to their promo give aways. I wonder how many people actually plugged them in and took a look though? I know I’ve gotten a ton of giveaways at the show and since flash drives are such a common item, I don’t use them all.

It seems that Facebook is re-evolving.It will pose a threat to twitter.The also had a done deal with Friend feed.All this suggest that they are ready to compete with twitter.

I hate all those spamming people trying to advertise their business all over my facebook page from those dumb apps – its getting to be annoying. Even twitter is having issues. I guess that’s the price for using these popular social media platforms.

I like Facebook for advertising, but have found in the short term loan space, that it does not convert as well as other marketing media. I do like it for the following and social feeling it gives and have gotten some residual sales from fan pages and such. However, for direct sales it still lacks. People just don’t go to facebook trying to find Short Term Loan (or whatever) like they do at google and other more active search tools.

I think facebook is over hyped as a direct sales tool and folks are in love with the mass traffic it can generate, but if that traffic does not convert – who cares?
