LP Jumper – Split Test Multiple Landing Pages

As you know affiliate marketing is all split testing. There is a lot of mechanics to test and so many aspects to test. Well, I am now sharing some of my affiliate tools that I have produced that has helped me. So far I have showed  you how to split test multiple offers properly. Well, now I am going to show you how I split test multiple landing pages.

The problem I ran into was that I was creating multiple campaigns for small changes, a campaign for:

  1. background color change
  2. heading title change
  3. image location
  4. CTA location and image changes
  5. etc

There was just so many things I was testing but had to create a different campaign for me to properly track. Especially with facebook, I had to test different aspects of my landing page but had to create multiple ads. Sometimes the ads will not get approved but my original ad was approved, facebook – gah!
Well, it has been several months now and I have been using my little neat script to test multiple landing pages without creating multiple campaigns and not having to worry if my split test ad campaigns would get approved or not.

Introducing LP Jumper

lp jumperI got this little script created to help with my split testing. LP Jumper is a WordPress plugin that takes the WordPress theme directory and rotates all those ‘themes’ or for me as an affiliate, landing pages.

This little script has helped me a whole lot and I decided to maybe share it with everyone. I just notice that I spend too much time with creating ads, so I assume everyone does as well.

If you are an affiliate marketer then you understand the aspects of split testing. There are just so many things to test. So why not just test them from 1 traffic source, saving time.

The simplicity of WordPress allowed me to have this script created with ease and it provided me with some control of my landing pages as well.

Some Features:

  • Control which LP gets seen
  • Control priority of an LP base on performance
  • Decide visibility of an LP

This tool definitely help me save time and even help me with my split testing needs. Check it out! You may think this is just a theme rotation script, but implement a couple tracking codes and it is a perfect affiliate lp script tool. You can actually see a live demonstration here >> LP Jumper in action.

The demo above just rotates the themes and some dummy landing pages I have in there, there are 4 themes which are being rotated at 25% each. Just keep hitting refresh, which will act as a new traffic and you will see the themes change.

Dam, kickass script! This really looks like it makes it extremely easy to split test. I like the idea of being able to specify the percent you want it to display! Great job, can’t wait to pick mine up.

I know this post is somewhat old but I do have one question. Does this work in conjunction with “UBD Affiliate Theme” without any issues or errors?

I believe this post you wrote (and the LP Jumper sales page) is quite misleading.

LP Jumper only lets you rotate THEMES, not pages or posts. I had this confirmed to me in an email response from Nick Throlson.

If you know or figured out something about the plugin that I dont, please let me know how to split test actual pages or posts (not theme, or how to easily use themese to test ONE element like a headline or text color or image placement etc etc)

    thanks
