Do you know that 50 of 100 best blogs use wordpress. Only 3 use blogspot, few use drupal.
Wordpress is my choice too – lots of plugins and google likes it. Pinging and tags work pretty well for me – just add all-in-one seo and it’s half of online success.

Despite what others are doing (some even argue that WP takes too much of a bandwidth), I’ve been using WP to create a single landing page. Simply because I could maximize the use of plugin to do certain tasks that a simple HMTL page couldn’t. So I’m pretty much agree with your prediction.

Good question. Well, in my honest opinion, I think there are brighter chances. With the unlimited plugin options, LP can be made up with so many options.

I totally agree with you, and it seems that many affiliates are all ready using blogs to rank better for their AM sites. And I also agree that it is not smart to block comments, they are totally free site content.

I know a number of people who are using WordPress for their landing pages. It is just a matter of time before these become more widely accepted and used.

They give certain advantage as you have pointed out and if it gives a marketer an edge, they will use it. As landing page themes become more widely available and accessible, they will become even more popular.

I agree, I think that WordPress will be the next gen of landing pages.

Even now it is pretty good as a LP, with the options to select a post or page to be your “Front page displays”.

I’ve been using WordPress for many years, and with the new update feature in 2.7, I think that it will open up WordPress to even more people, as people new to online business will need less technical know how.
