If you do not know how powerful WordPress has become, it is a powerful system that can almost turn almost into anything. Recently I have been playing around with a new plugin and theme style product that replicates those answer look a like sites, similar to Yahoo Answers.

It is called WP-Answers. The product itself can be used in 2 ways, one I think most affiliates and marketers will definitely like. The other is for marketers or site seekers to start their own clone of Yahoo Answers. This plugin and theme gives you the ability to create auto generated sites from Yahoo Answers.

Now what it does is grabs information from Yahoo Answers and auto posts it to your new Q&A site. This also updates on its own, so there is no need to click a button to grab content.

The best part is it’s keyword targeted, you enter a keyword and select the site you want to grab the questions and answers from (UK, Canada, US) and save. This plugin does everything else.

The auto creation part makes it seems your site is busy, utilizing users from Yahoo Answers and posting their response to the questions. You can even set the interval of when to grab content days and hours. Which is good because you do not want to add content rapidly but slowly, making it look more generic than automated.

If you do not want to use the auto content generation within WP-Answers, then you can have your own Q&A clone. I would suggests to use the auto content generation so you can have an instant brand when visitors comes to the site. When you have enough users submitting questions and enough users answering then turn off the auto content generation.

Also, WP-Answers has a point leaderboard system. I haven’t really played with it because I just like the auto content generation. But it is suppose to encourage users to interact and answer questions. This system is actually configurable via the admin of the plugin.
