Evolution of my Workspace. Home Office to Office Space

Over the years on the internet I have evolved. From a person that have been working 3 jobs to being involved in multiple businesses and now investing in projects. I want you all to look back at where I was. I want to share the struggle, because it is real. I want you all to know that it is also possible to be able to make a living online.

From the first video of 2015, I explained growth. Below is proof that I have grown from old Windows PCs, bad neighborhoods, ugly apartments to now nice condos, Apple devices all day, and enjoying the growth of my brand new office.

How I have grown. This is my first home office. I basically took the kitchen area of my apartment and turned it into a mini home office. It had a nice couch, well old couch. Everything here was donated or bought at a salvation store. I posted this back in the day when Problogger asked us to post our work office.

first-home-officeAfter about two years in this place, I was then able to leave and got myself a better place to live. It was actually in a nice area of New Jersey, but in the south. I got a 2 story place that I rented and I had more than enough room for just myself. Here is the video tour on it. At this time in my life I actually quit my job and was doing affiliate marketing and digital sales full time.

When I bought my First Home, I turned the 2nd bedroom into an office. At first, it was in the kitchen. As you can see in this video below, that I basically just moved in. I was also excited that I bought my first home. The best part about this is that I also then got sick of working at home all the time. I even wrote a post how overrated it was.

So then I decided to work out of a co working space. I also had my first employee that came to the office with me all the time, another reason why the coworking space was a good decision. I enjoyed the time that I can go to the office whenever I needed help from my small team member. It was a good work experience to go in and out of the office, a break from the normal house air I get at home.

I lived in Jersey all my years, then a milestone in my life came. The opportunity to sell one of my companies/softwares, OfferSnitch. I moved to Atlanta and partnered up with an amazing team to grow my business. We got a nice office, at first it was a lawyer office. We took all the walls down and turned it into a more open space.

This was one of my proudest moments to go from a traditional affiliate/digital marketer to having an office and running a business. I learned so much from this experience. Though it was a short one. I learned a lot from this experience and I am glad at the decision I made at that point of my life.

I then moved to Florida and stayed there and continued to create my own offers, lead distribution, even consulting. I also got back into affiliate marketing and blogging. I started working from home again. This time, instead of just a regular sitting desk I created myself my own Ikea Hack standing desk.

Now I am back in New Jersey, my home and I have teamed up with some past marketers to take over the internet. We now have an office with close to 15 employees. We started with just 2 employees and now constantly growing. We went from an open space office to now rows of employees.

Yes there are more employees that work here. Check out Instagram from our New Years Post.

I am proud of my journey. How hard are you working to reach your goals? What sacrifices have you made. I went through hardship and came out with success. I believe if you want it you can easily get it. I worked 3 jobs and now I am writing checks. Hardship will come and challenge you, it doesn’t mean you should give up.

It is like going to the gym, you have a goal in mind and all you have to do is persevere.

Where did you get the prints done with the quotes? I have a couple I’d like to have done…

Any thoughts on going office-less? I’ve struggled with it over the years but have always avoided it. We run a global team with only a couple people centralized.
