WP Review Site: My First Impressions

September 5, 2008 · 2 Comments

The other day I launched AFFpinions.com, an opinion based website about affiliate networks. AFFpinions.com simply let the networks pitch to users and affiliates or users who are a part of that specific network get to write their own personal experience. This helps others decide if they want to join a specific network and consider branding for the networks. But in building a site, I needed a plugin or even a system to help track and rate the networks base on user experience. Prior to my new concept and I stumbled upon WP... [Read the full post]

See Me at IZEAFest and Blog World Expo

August 25, 2008 · 1 Comment

I finally decided I am attending Blog World Expo. I was wondering if I should just go to either IZEAFest or BlogWorld Expo. IZEAFest I quickly bought my ticket because of an unbeatable price and I just finally decided to go ahead and go to Blog World. Shoemoney was telling me how crazy it is at Blog World and I decided to look at the scheduled sessions. There are a lot of interesting people I would like to meet and listen from. I mean it makes sense for me to go since I am a blogger as well. I talked about going to IZEAFest... [Read the full post]

Don’t All the Networks Sound a Like?

September 2, 2008 · 3 Comments

After going to all these conventions and signing up with several networks, I noticed they all say the same thing. I recently just got back from Affiliate Summit Boston and will be going to IZEAFest and Blogworld next week. While traveling and talking to these networks they all sound the same. They all seem to say the same thing as well. I know there are networks out there that special in offers no other network has but why does every other network say the same thing. I personally notice that I see the same exclusive offers... [Read the full post]

Exit Pop Ups: The Reason they Convert

August 29, 2008 · 7 Comments

I have several sale pages for several products. The more popular ones I add in a little exit popup script, but its not those pop up pages scripts, it is those un-stoppable popups. These popups create an overlay over your current website. It is a really creative idea because it notices when a user will be leaving the active windows screen and if they do a popup occurs. I use various ones and I spent a good amount on a more interactive one. I have found one where it is really cheap and works with all browsers. Exit Magnet... [Read the full post]

IANteract Dinner and Share a Sale Party!

August 14, 2008 · 6 Comments

After the Meet Market I went to my room and just relaxed for about 30 minutes, I was tired. But a special dinner was being held that night, my IANteract Dinner. IANteract = Interact, but it is personally branded for IAN. You can visit the forum where everyone can interact with each other even me. IANteract is all about interaction and just strong networking. IANteract is for the IANternet Media community, where users of other services, customer support, readers, entrepreneurs, all can interact with one another. This year... [Read the full post]

The Art of Keyword Blasting

August 27, 2008 · 3 Comments

There are some things in affiliate marketing that are kept to our own or that are talked about and we should automatically know. While at Affiliate Summit when describing to some users how I do keyword research, I usually say I keyword blast most of the time to find profitable keywords for any offer. A lot of users did not know the main concept of keyword blasting or heard of blasting keywords. It is a quick way to find a lot of profitable keywords (deep and wide). It stops you from wasting time on less searchable keywords... [Read the full post]

Riding the Trend ‘RIGHT AWAY’ Always Beneficial?

September 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Everyone already have heard about Google Chrome and there are a tone of blog posts about it. I look at this as a marketing trick, riding the wave they call it. It is basically stating you are riding the trend and monetizing it. Sometimes riding trends has it’s downfall if you do not do research. I purposely find markets where the trends are high and are continous, a repeated one is coming up soon: Halloween -> Thanksgiving -> Black Friday -> Christmas -> New Years. This is a great trend for me to follow... [Read the full post]
