After reading somethings about Facebook Social Ads I wanted to go ahead and try to attack facebook one more time and really put sometime into it and try to conquer or at least make some dollars off it. In the past I did not have any good experiences with them. Facebook told me I wasn’t using proper english and putting half naked men on the ads were not allowed.

Well things have changed since the last time I tested out Facebook and now it seems a lot of people are making money on it, so why not me. So let me go ahead and try this facebook thing one more time. Before we get into it and what my plans are I went a head and created a video of a basic introductions, I mean I haven’t done video in a while.

So what will I do differently to make some money with Facebook? There are several things I will be doing, I will be working with a person that has actually made some money in Facebook. If you do not know who Neil is you should go over to his blog to check his Facebook campaigns and stats. He has even posted his last month stats, and made just a little over 5k in profit!

I am happy to learn and see what Neil has to show me as I will be working with him to get me to his status. The thing with Facebook everything is so straight forward, there really isn’t a lot to think about. But Neil has showed me some things and even his blog outputs alot of information which you wouldn’t think to really look into especially for facebook.

So here is my list of things that will help me succeed in Facebook:

  1. Don’t Get Mad when an AD gets disapproved
  2. Learn to use better pictures and better copy
  3. Easily maneuver through facebook to find the niches and targeted audience
  4. Keep doing Facebook Ads until I make my first dollar!
  5. Network and learn from others.

This seems very simple but I get piss off when an ad gets disapproved because of poor sentence structure or image has no relation when it really does! So I will try to be more patient and I will keep you guy updated on the facebook social ads.

I know what you mean. The reviewers for Facebook are so critical. Once you get past the initial reviews or at least get used to the common disapproval reasons, it’s fairly simple to get an ad with decent CTR up. I haven’t tried some of the stuff that Neil has, but college/high school offers are fairly easy to find on any of the networks.

Too bad they wouldn’t let you use the naked men pictures. I can already see the high CTR and low CPC.

    Good luck on Facebook!

I love when you say this:
“If they can do it, I can do it.” That’s the mindset it takes to win.

    Good job man. :)

Nice post.. I’m trying to get into Facebook Social Ads myself at the moment.

Have you ever tried to contact them to query the exact reason for a disapproved ad?

I just had one disapproved citing their terms but I’m still not sure how I have not obied by them. I’ve e-mail them for clarification so we’ll see if they reply.

let me know what they say. I have not contacted them on why they disapprove me. I just got disapprove for an exact same ad copy but with a different age range for an a/b testing. so I dont even know what will happen

    let me know! :)

That is quite possible the answer to the internet rat race…

Work with someone that has done it and can do it over and over again ;)
