Affiliate Summit West 2008 is coming soon, there is 54 days before I will be traveling to Las Vegas to gamble and go on the strip. What I mean was that I will be there covering the conference and will be posting it via my blog. So what am I doing to prepare and get ready for Affiliate Summit?

Well I have been reading a lot of information from the Affiliate Summit Blog and other blogs as well. I also received an update to the Blog ‘War’ Room from Mark, giving a basic FAQs about the Blog Room. I will be joining Mark in the Blog Room and others as well, we bloggers will be covering the conference in a small 100 * 100 cubicle room. <- sarcasm.

I also created a custom logo to try attract readers and affiliates to come join me at Affiliate Summit. If you haven’t seen it here it is below. I wonder if these Vegas girls will be at the Rio Hotel. I have already booked my flight and stay very early, once I received the confirmation of my press pass. I will be there also a day early and a day later, I know some friends there so I will catch up with them as well.

Also entrepreneurs like Ms. Danielle, John Chow, Zac Johnson, Ian Lee, Uber Paul will be there and I can’t wait to meet them all. I also can not wait and even party with members from the WickedFire forum community, they sound like party starters.

With all the anticipation, I even started to get some of my shirts done (pre ordered) so I can pass them out and network with so many people. I also was thinking of buying a new camera or even a video camera.

I remember Jeremy posted some tips when traveling to conferences. The one tip I will look forward to try is the ShoeMoney Hangover Remedy!

Next tip, would be my hangover recipe. Keep in mind this is what I do and I am a professional. This is obviously geared to those that may consume alcohol. Basically what I do in the morning, this is my little recipe ritual, I’ll take two Aleve, two Tylenol and a Gatorade if I have it. Dillsmack recommends Pedialite. I’ve never had that, but I should try it. I think Gatorade does a really good job replenishing your body after a long night of drinking. Also, water will work but Aleve will give you the good 12 hours of coverage and Tylenol will handle the short term pain relief to knock out that banging headache. So two Tylenol and two aleve, and call me in the morning.

With the Affiliate Summit blog being updated more often there are great information that I look forward to. For example I want to talk to my host 1and1 about some issues I have been having. There is a great list of sponsors and attendees. You will be able to find my name with the thousands of attendees that are going to be at Affiliate Summit West this year.

The only thing that I need to think of is how will I cover all the events? I hope I meet with some cool bloggers and network with some people online, but I know I will be attending the ones I want to view and cover. There are a couple more things that I want to do before I end up in Vegas and Party.
