As you know I have been doing a serious of video interviews with a network the past couple days and I hope it has been very informative. I am reaching the last couple and today I have Daniel from Direct Agents to speak about how they do search campaigns on the agency side of Direct Agents. As you know from the prior videos with Direct Agents, they are not just an affiliate network but an agency as well.

They handle other clients and send traffic either search or seo. I thought it would be a good idea to interview him and how they do search for their clients. Daniel has a team of 5 I believe, which handles other clients. We discuss how they set their budget, what person works with what advertiser, etc. Good interview on how an agency does it.

I got another great interview for you guys! I sat down with the co owner of Direct Agents and he goes through and speak about his network and how he overseas all actions in the agency and network.

Our discussion consists of Direct Agents as a company and how how they perform as an agency and as a network. Josh goes into details about Direct Agents and how rapidly they are growing. They are growing so fast desk are on top of desks!

In Depth Direct Agent’s Contest Conversation

While I was at the Direct Agents Office this past Friday, I was able to grab some people to talk about the industry and what their network is doing differently from the other networks. Well, I pulled Francesca and she was a bit nervous but she easily got comfortable in front of the camera.

Our topic was all about the current contest they are currently hosting across networks. We talk about the reason for having such a contest and how users can get a really great prize on being a top affiliate at Direct Agents. I want to thank Francesca again for having the interview with me as well as the up and coming video interviews I have in store for you guys. Directly Involved with Direct Agents

Another day went by and another day I went back to New York to visit Direct Agents. As you know Direct Agents is hosting a contest and planning on sending one of you to the Caribbeans. So today, I went and visited their office and first of all would like to thank Francesca for inviting and having me to their office.

It was an easy walk from the train to their office, it was kinda in the cut and almost missed it with all the construction that was happening on their block but I found it. I got to their suite and it was like going to someones apartment because of how the building was structured. I was introduce by their intern and I just asked for Francesca. They have a really nice sign though I give props to that.

Arriving to their office it was definitely tiny, everyone was on top of each other and there was no breathing room. Literallyif somone got sick everyone would probably get sick as well. Prior to that I saw my AM in a conference room and he eagerly introduce me to the office. Then Francesca gave a quick tour of their office, which was literally 5 steps to teh back of the room.

But this means they are growing and they are growing fast. I remember when Market Leverage showed me pictures of their old office, they too were on top of each other and now got a nicer office and building. It looks like Direct Agents will be doing the same.

Once we quicklly toured the office and I shokk everyones hands, we taked a lot about business and talked from a publishers point of view and what is needed or what we as affiliates look for within a network. We discuss what can differentiates them from other networks and what is needed on their part. The first order I gave them was to get rid of Direct Track!

After a good collaboration, we headed out to lunch and it was a very entertaining lunch. Opened up conversation outside of the industry for a bit and talked about traveling and nice places to go to. It seems my AM is also a regular traveler himself. It was great to get out and chat with a network that isnt always regards to business but more as a person, which is great relationship building.

I got props as well for my recent branding post that I posted earlier this week. Amazing how a network reads and learns for themselves from others, it is great. With in regards to that I discuss more branding opportunities with the network and how to find proper branding. Discuss ways of promotions and ways to get noticed. I definitely enjoyed the conversation.

We even got into more details of their contest and I will be posting that as well soon.

Back at the office, I decided to do a video of the office and see if I can get some interviews with certain team memebers of their network. During the course of the coming days you will find interviews and see what goes behinds the scenes of an affiliate network.

Direct Agents and Bidz.com Affiliate Challenge

Direct Agents has recently released an affiliate contest and it looks very interesting. I have recently joined Direct Agents after ad:Tech New York. I ran an offer on their network and got very good support form my affiliate manager.

Direct Agents does not have that much offers but they do have popular offers that do convert across over other networks. But lets talk about this contest for a bit and I will give my insights on Direct Agents right after as well.

Yesterday, Direct Agents released an affiliate challenge to the public called the the Bidz and Direct Agents Affiliate Challenge. Bidz.com and Direct Agents have teamed up together to provide a special Caribbean trip to a lucky affiliate. It is fairly easy, all you have to do is sign up under Direct Agents and run the Bidz.com offer on their network. The contest is from February 15th to April 15th, you are given more than enough time to earn as much as possible over your competition.

Even if you do not win, they have great follow-up prizes as well. 2nd prizes wins a 42 inch flat screen tv and the 3rd prize wins a $300 gift card! So they are not just thinking about the big guy but others that participate and want to get in the fun as well.

I also suggests to read the Terms and Conditions of the contest so you can have a better understanding of the contest and how you will be rewarded.

My Experience with Direct Agents

I have worked with DA after ad:Tech New York and definitely enjoyed the support they have. My affiliate manager is on point with me and is ready to solve issues the next business day. I can contact him at night and get immediate response via email or phone call. The best part with my AM is he knows my concerns and how I do business, making sure what I do will help him and me at the same time.

I definitely like the support me and my AM has because of the response time. I would find a problem or ask a question and we would get on a call the same day or next day with the tech team or advertiser to discuss the issues at hand.

As I stated they do not have the most offers but definitely has the right offers that will convert. Their staff is very friendly and informative, one of their AMs comes to my IANteract meetups to discuss and learn more about affiliate marketing. It is great to see AMs bond with their affiliates.

Get Direct Access to the Caribbeans

The other day I was at Direct Agents office, and a past post brought up a good interview with Francesca about their recent contest they are sponsoring across multiple blogs. So as you know Direct Agents is an affiliate network which aims in providing quality services to their publishers as well as their advertisers.

Well, they are growing rapidly that they are now sponsoring a contest on multiple blogs and I got Francesca to give a more in depth description about it. Francesca was a bit shy at first, but I work my magic in getting her n front of the camera and to discuss her recent contest.

They are also working on a new contest which will be launching March 1st as well. Francesca goes into more details about that contest as well.
