The mos popular of the search networks users use to advertise on is Google. Google has the most powerful search engine and it is used on a daily basis, hell it became part of our vocabulary.

Now as affiliate marketers and advertisers, it is becoming hard to advertise on such platform. There are things you have to consider and the most important one is keywords. Keywords play a vital role with search marketing.

But first, Emil and his PPC Bully team are good friends of mine and they have a solid product. I have been using their PPC Bully version 1 and it is a great asset to use. It has helped me find keywords that are useful, where as I would have to figure it out after about a week of data. PPC Bully does this simple task for me and I don’t waste money on testing or researching.

If you do not know who Emil is or heard of what PPC Bully is about, listen to a podcast me and Emil had together.

I personally been using PPC Bully to look up profitable campaigns without me doing the testing and hard work. I simply enter a bunch of targeted keywords, give it about a week and I have my data which I can decipher.

PPC Bully even deciphers the data for you. Telling you which ads are more profitable than others, gives you a week data mine of the ads it found, how many times it scanned Google for the content, etc.

With PPC Bully Pre Launching today, Emil and his team is offering a lot of information before you even grab PPC Bully version 2. If you have not been on any of the past PPC Bully webinars, then you need to. Emil’s team gives a lot of information and strategies with PPC and using PPC Bully.

Today, I know Emil is giving away several things while on this pre-launch:

A Free PPC Bully Blueprint, which shows you how to create a profitable campaigin in 60 Minutes

3 video training series on Dominating clickbank, international ppc, and taking over CPA offers

A limited seating to their live webinar, where they will show you how easy it is to launch a campaign with PPC Bully.

Another crazy part of PPC Bully and what Emil is doing is he is giving PPC Bully away for free. Ofcourse participation is required. Visit the PPC Bully Blog and leave a comment about their free report. It is that simple.

Another added bonus, which I am doing, is going to give you FREE access to my basic affiliate training membership site. This is a newly added project I am doing for my affiliates who are promoting any of my products. How do you participate?

ReTweet about this new launch with the twitter form provided below, password are not stored

Leave a comment below that you have retweeted

Only 10 users will be chosen to enter the affiliate basic training courses I have.

Comments will be closed in 3 days from today’s post date

If you already do not know about Content Bully then you should. I wrote a post about it a while back, in whch they allowed me to give away 50 of their copies. Well, I have been playing around with the software for a while now and I am impress with what it can do and how it arranges the data.

Since there is so much data that Content Bully is providing, what do you do with that data? There is data for banner ad sizes, alexa ranks, geo targeted alexa ranks, etc. There is a lot and it takes time for Content Bully to gather these data, especially if you set a filter to what you are looking for.

Well, since I have not done an excel tutorial in a while I will show you how the data looks like and what you can do with that data, from my point of view. I will show you some things on filtering by alexa ranks, banners, sorting, etc. It is all very basic Excel tips and tricks but can be very useful when doing your own data or looking at data.

So with content I run about 3-5 instances of this depending on the offers I am running and types of keywords. Since I look for the max websites with my basic specs, such as alexa ranks and if they have ads or not.

If you do not know what Content Bully is, it simply finds websites with high volume traffic with adsense ads on them. This way you can do placement targeting when working with Google Adwords.

Well, let me just show you the video of and how to decipher Content Bully’s data:

I hope everyone had a great holiday! It is almost 2009 and I am trying to think what to do on New Years and what to do with some of my Christmas money. I spent some of it at the malls buying some new gear then I thought of this post.

If you are a new person trying to get into affiliate marketing especially in the ppc space, you may want to put your holiday money into a bank and use it to start your first ppc campaign. It is 2009 and you should start a goal. If you wanted to jump into some type of make money online, then I suggests to save some of your holiday money and then invest in a campaign, creatives, traffic, etc. There are a lot of people that want to start making money online but are scared to lose money.

Well, since now you have at least $100 from your holiday celebration, save it and invest it. You were $100 less and now you have some money to invest. Use It! To start in affiliate marketing specifically you do not need to spend money BUT if you want quick results you will need to spend some money.

When it comes to PPC Marketing, a lot of entrepreneurs are scared to lose money and risk their money. But then are you really considered an entrepreneur? I get emails everyday asking me to coach then into affiliate marketing or other forms of online marketing. I always respond with a no, just because of time restraint. But since you have time and dedication go a head and start a campaign and just do it!

You really can not think about losing money, think about it as a learning experience because you will lose bigger money when you are actually making money but gain a bigger ROI as well. There are just too many people that hold back because of risk. Risk is all about learning without risk you really do not learn anything. With risk also comes experience, you know what to do and what not to do next time.

My last IANteract Meetup202, there are a lot of users that have not even started their first affiliate campaign but have all the tools and have read all the blogs, ebooks, and tutorials out there. They really do not work because it is someone’s experience, it is only there as guidance. I personally feel that you need to fail at something to make it better and to get a good understanding of how things work, it gets your brain thinking differently.

Hold onto that holiday money and invest in a campaign, you now have no excuse on why you can not start your own campaign. You can easily make that $100 back, just work with your affiliate manager and read around forums. BUT if you have read all the ebooks and tutorials out there you should have an idea on how to start.

So stop the talking and complaining and stop being selfish; use that holiday money to start making more money. It is a big step to reaching your goal and a giant leap to actually getting some experience under your belt. Without taking any risk you are simply just watching everyone else, and thinking you know what everyone is talking about. You really do not, since it is experience that gives you the benefit over conversation. How can you talk about diet offers when you ‘think’ you know the demographics and have not promoted a diet offer prior?

Use that holiday money towards a new campaign to earn bigger dollars so you can buy out the mall and not buy a single piece of clothing from the mall.

The other day I gave an intro about PPC Bully and why it is very beneficial for users to use it. Well I now got a chance to talk to the bully himself and got more in depth about his system and even his secret system that he is currently implementing. Emil is a good friend of another good friend of mine and I was glad to have the chance to talk to him.

We discussed about PPC marketing and the hassle of creating just 1 campaign with a lot of tedious work. We talked about all the trial and error in search marketing and how to not waste too much money or no money at all on launching a successful campaign. We discussed how to look at PPC Bully and even case studies that Emil has launched in the past and made it profitable right out the gate.

With PPC Bully you can see the simple formula below and see how it can be easily implemented with your offers and LP. Let others work for you while PPC Bully just sits and waits for the right opportunity for you to create a new and successful campaign.

I personally use PPC Bully and found it to be a boat load of information, speaking with Emil definitely brought the tension off and explained some things to me that I wouldn’t even think of doing because of the mass of information PPC Bully provides.

Emil has a lot on his hands and has provided a great service for users that want to get into PPC marketing but do not want to do all the testing. Find targeted keywords that work, find targeted ad copies that work, find a successful campaing. The podcast below will give you a great insight of what PPC Bully can do for you and your campaigns.

When you hear PPC, a lot of us think about affiliate marketing. A lot of affiliates want to use PPC to speed up their affiliate income. It is far better than SEO as it provides faster results and faster return. But other companies are using PPC as a source of fast traffic, especially if they are a startup. Some are using PPC to just advertise their own products or new websites. PPC is not just for affiliate marketing.

I found out at Affiliate Summit that most affiliates want to learn and use PPC to increase their income with affiliate marketing. While I was able to talk to 1 email marketer, a majority of affiliates look to PPC for traffic. But why not use PPC to market just your own product, it is what I am doing as well. I have several products and I currently have 3 of my better products on the Google and MSN search network.

Promoting my own products on the search networks provides full net, since I am not direct with the advertisers or going through a network. One of my earlier successful products was a great success with the Build a Niche Store niche. I was doing very well with it, but I specifically did not promot it via PPC, currently I am. Now I am getting a lot of traffic and a lot more conversion. I have recently released a new digital product in which I am currently riding the craze trend and benefiting from it.

As I said prior 3 products I have created are being promoted via PPC. I feel PPC is not strictly for just affiliate marketing, it is masked as it is made for affiliate marketing. The ads are made by other companies and other smaller businesses. They are competing against us, but are there more affiliate related ads on the search network, possibly. I use search networks to promote and diverse my visibility.

Pay Per Click can provide your business with a lot of new customers and a lot of new prospects. I enjoy using PPC as it provides fast results for analytics. A lot of marketers use PPC as a bridge page prior to an affiliate offer (Google is monitoring these types of sites). Affiliates either capture leads to promote to these people later on. There are affiliates that want to capture only serious buyers and users, creating the bridge page helps filer out good vs bad traffic.

I personally enjoy using search marketing as a good source for promoting my own products, since it is rapid traffic for me to do more research and helps me analyze the type of users coming to my landing pages. Instead of doing standard SEO and waiting for the traffic I can target the proper traffic to my sites and figure out what to improve. Also I personally do not look at PPC as an affiliate source, more so as a way to get faster traffic that is more targeted, in which affiliates are interested in.

I noticed something in the past 2 days. Keywords that are being generated via a website and an offer that relates to those keywords, which I am currently running. As you know keywords are generated everyday, brand new ones are generated everyday. There is no way a company or software that can give you the best keywords out there as many are being made every minute. For example a standard “stereo bluetooth headset” is a pretty good keyword but someone can add model numbers, brands, colors, size, etc. There are so many other variations of keywords for the general keyword.

Well I noticed via analytics that my site was being ranked number 1 in the SERPs for about 500+ keywords. I will show you how to grab these keywords, later on. I then realize one of my offers can relate to those group of keywords. I exported those keywords and added them in the Adwords Editor to upload to my account. I gave it a day and then realized that the keywords were not converting.

My Theory:

Since I was ranking #1 in the SERPs for these specific keywords, I am competing against my own sites. SO what, I compete against all the other sites as well. Then I realize that my site was providing information, where the offer was providing the information as well, but with a payment. Interesting.

My Analysis:

I looked at the stats more and noticed repeated IP addresses from both the offers and my website. I then thought to myself:

They went to the website, hit back went to the offer

Went to the offer, hit back went to the website

Interesting. I figured I would be able to leverage my own website’s keywords to benefit my own campaigns. Looks like it did not. I noticed low return today and was kinda shocked at that. I had very targeted niche specific keywords, but users were very specific to the keyword they didn’t bother completing the offer.

So these 500+ sets of keywords turned into negatives for the offer I was running. Now I believe that my site was providing the answer, where the offer was providing the answer for a price and FREE obviously won. I was kinda of disappointed that I saw the clicks but not a high conversion.

To me this was a mistake for me, I should have just let my site take in all the traffic. I just wanted to find a way in which my offers can benefit from the new set of keywords that were generated from my website. Maybe if the page did not provide so much information, the offer might have converted? Well in anycase I added the offer link at the bottom of my page to see if readers would filter through and then convert.
