Two weeks ago I released my multi variant a/b testing engine. A custom tool I had made developed for me over 2 years ago. I recently decided to get it revamped up and sell it as a service to other marketers, if it helped me it will help others. So I decided to do a product launch campaign for it and share it with everyone. There are several tools and plugins I used to launch this product, one in particular is OptimizePress.

A while back I wrote about how useless Kajabi is, nothing against Andy Jenkins – just thought there are better ways to control your launch and membership sites. Anyways, I got OptimizePress to help with my latest launch and its an amazing platform. It is a bit confusing at first but after playing with it for a couple days you get the hang of it. You will find yourself reading their detailed help doc quite a bit, as I found myself doing it several times.

Once you overcome the learning curve it is a great plugin and theme set for product launches and squeeze pages. Some pointers I want to point about it that has helped me tremendously with my product launch.

Setting up a Squeeze Page is SUPER EASY.

OtimizePress comes with preset templates that you can chose from, especially for squeeze pages. I chose a specific template which it did fairly well. It was big and bold and straight to your face. Again this has a ton of customizable options such as text format, background color, heading, sub headline, etc.

You can literally control every aspect of a squeeze page, no need to edit the post – just answer each field and you are basically done. Since there is a lot of fields to enter it does get confusing just a bit, but again its a learning curve and I would rather have control of all aspects of a page than just some.

This systems auto populates share buttons and have several share buttons you can chose from. This system gives you options which is great, nothing is fixed it has several options or themes of buttons and designs to chose from. Again, you have control of what you want to do.

Protecting your Pre Launch Series

You can even cookie users making sure all of your other content is protected. This means you can make sure you are capturing leads before they get to see the content. This makes for a great simple and easy autoresponder series and also protecting your content. Now you can rest assure your pages and videos are not just being watched by non optins. This allows you to quickly increase your optins fairly quickly.

The cookie gateway system is a very simple system, you basically set the cookie when the end user optins. You can set the cookie either on the submit form or when they confirm their email with aweber or other email platforms.

There are ton of other features on here that makes this a versatile system. I use to just combine a bunch of scripts together and make my launch series a success and it can be done. With OptimizePress it definitely is a all in one system for doing a product launch with an pre launch or if you want to just use it as a squeeze page template that can work too.

Some downsides:

Each field box you can not use PHP. In this essence you can not test headlines if you wanted too. Luckily I have my own a/b testing software which allows javascript and that worked perfectly with OptimizePress.

Gateway is not deactivated when admin is signed in. When I used the cookie gateway they have, I couldn’t preview my changes or go to my page right away because it would redirect to the main squeeze page. I had to set the cookie first and then view or I had to attach a setuser id at the end of the link to view the page, so that got kinda of annoying.

Besides these 2 setbacks this is an amazing plugin and theme system for launching a product, membership site, website, etc. It is very similar to Kajabi which is by Andy Jenkins and I think this is a far better platform. I will probably start using OptimizePress for my future optin pages and product launches because its such a versatile platform.

writing this late. I’m tired.

I just noticed all 4 of the ads on my Facebook wall have to deal with Kajabi. I sat and watch the 24 minute presentation, looks real interesting and looks like a solid product. It is technology like this that sells because it is easy and it is a push button system. I bet that even after this product does its pre-sell and all that other stuff, my own system is cheaper. Also, I met Andy Jenkins real cool guy.

Why, simple I did this with my own mini launch of Infinite FB and I didn’t use this Kajabi thing. I did however notice all the big launches and took into consideration that these methods work. So why recreate the wheel, I decided to simply just create the same exact process. The problem is how to do all this, I conceptually thought of the process and the funnel, but implementing was another thing.

Well if you can’t afford the price tag of Kajabi which is probably going to be a killer price. These are the tools I used that did what Kajabi did. It did require some work, like thinking on your own – but that is what you have to do.

Here are 4 scripts that you will need:

First you will need a squeeze page, it is obvious that you need to capture leads. There are 2 scripts that I use Squeeze Page Generator, Squeeze Theme, or Hot Video Squeeze Themes. You need to start capturing leads, I use both system base on the need I am in. Squeeze Page Generator has built in templates that actually work and is being used in the marketing space. While Squeeze Template is a drag and drop wordpress plugin catering to what you want your squeeze page to look like.

Both has it’s benefits. If you know code and can move some simple HTML stuff around then Squeeze Page Generator is for you, if you don;t know any code, then Squeeze Theme it is!

Then you will need a theme that will show a video a the top and then comments for social proof. I use Product Launch WP Theme, amazing theme. It is very simple to use and implement. It is a top bar with 2 columns style theme. Obviously the top bar will have your video, the bottom columns have your comments and then the previous video series.

The best part about this theme is if they are on day 2, they see day 1 video and not day 1 – 5. So it keeps them on track! Very simple. The only work you have to do is implement your Facebook Social comment system yourself. It isn’t hard – yes it is work!

The next part is the membership part for your content. Another amazing wordpress system is WishList Member! It is one of the most powerful membership plugins out there. I currently run my own membership sites and wishlist is just an amazing system and gives you full control of the members and users and the community.

Lastly, WP Drip is friggin an amazing script! It drips content and it does it with ease! It only works with Wishlist but it is definitely worth having because it keep the retention rate! Which is what Kajabi main selling point is about, retention of users. Keeping users as customers. WP Drip definitely keep retention because it drips content base on dates of a post.

Kajabi talks about 5 aspects

Technology Matters

Professionalism Matters

Retention is the New Conversion

Stability Matters

Speed Matters

Te 4 scripts I told you above, does each of these 5 reasons. Technology is important and it is the reason why so many great scripts are out there to help make your marketing experience online better.

The only thing you as a person will have to do out of the 5 reason is Professionalism and Stability. You decide if you want to spend money on a big server or cloud service and you should be testing your shopping cart anyways! Either or I doubt no big launches will be like Kern’s or Jenkins. So these sets of tools I mentioned will be what you need.

So lets add this all up:

Squeeze Theme ($97) or Squeeze Page Generator ($47)

Product Launch Theme ($77)

Wishlist Mmber ($97) or Unlimited License ($297)

Wp Drip ($47)

Minimum Total: $268

Max Total: $518

Just to note, I have all of these products, because I use them on my own launches.

I bet Kajabi will cost more on launch. Kajabi looks like a great system, honestly I already did what Kajabi does with other scripts. It is easier to have everything in one system, but I do like having some sort of control on each aspect of my marketing. The fact is that I actually did my own research to copy a big launch strategy and I did it with my own research and outsourcing work.

But if you do have a big launch or anticipating, then Amazon Cloud is what you want to look at. I use it to run my videos so there is no ‘slow connections’ to my videos. My images load fast, my audio loads on point for my members. I want to make sure that I look professional to my users.

Most online marketers are lazy anyways, there are situation where you wish you can push a button and it is done. I do think of days like that, but reality puts you to work and it is all about putting in work. I literally watch these launches and watch what the big guys do, they have the volume already from their own list, so I just take the results from their testing and implement it.

It really isn’t that hard, just copy and get it done. The funnel system, the series, how they do a launch, template concepts, etc. There are tools that do what Kajabi does but instead of just one box you may have to order multiple items to get the end results. It is about wanting and thinking outside the box!

With the growth of Facebook advertising, there are still some people still struggling with it. I really do not understand, it is a very easy platform to advertise and earn money from. The big problem I find with many people that email me and ask me questions is they lack a lot of creative thinking.

For example the targeting is always broad and never targeted. Interests are always generic and their audience isn’t streamlined to their niche. What a lot of users are doing on facebook ads is what 99% what every other facebook advertiser is doing. With everyone thinking genericly, there is a huge competition and too much saturation.

The point to Facebook advertising is being creative and thinking as if you were the user. How creative is your ad, how can you implement a great headline, what image to use, etc. Some of these things is critical to ask yourself.

So I decided to create an ecourse called Infinite FB.

While I was in California I started to write up the content for Facebook from what I know, 2 years of knowledge stored in my cranium. You can even see old case studies on this blog from when I first started with Facebook.

Anyways, Infinite FB is all about providing the foundation of generating and creating a profitable Facebook ad. It isn’t an ebook that will get you to $1000 dollars a day with a push of a button. It will take work. Once the work is completed you can get up to $1000 a day with the productivity you put in it.

Now I created this as a systematic ecourse. This is meant to help you understand soak the information and not let you get “info overloaded” with the content. So over the next 30 days, Infinite FB will build your foundation with audio, text, powerpoint, and videos.

With having a strong foundation in anything is important, so with Infinite FB I made that my objective of the ecourse. The reason is because of the “too much info and no work”. Meaning, a lot of people buy info products but put no actual work into what they bought, but take no action. Which is why most people fail to start off.

The second reason is a lot of people give up because they lose money. Once they lost money whether it is 20$ or 200$, they stop and give up without really thinking how else to better their ad. What to test, why did my ad fail, why didn’t it convert, was it the offer, maybe my design of my website?

There is a lot of people that are afraid of money and are afraid to take that next step risk, which is to lose more money. So Infinite FB will build a strong foundation, giving you an understanding of what Facebook is about and what to expect. I go in details and point out harsh realities of Facebook advertising.

I am not going to try to give you the holy grail of Facebook advertising because there isn’t any. It is all about understanding how to think and how to attack a situation, thinking differently than anyone else.

Grab Infinite FB if you want to start understanding how to utilize Facebook Ads in 30 days!

Get a Case Study Report…

What if you already know what you are some what doing on Facebook but can’t scale or know what to do next?

I have this great case study for you. It has snapshots of landing page, ad copy, image used, etc. It goes in depth and gives you numbers about the study that was done.

The case study if you haven’t already figured out is about Split testing ad copy, lp design, and ad variations.

Grab your FREE Case Study Now!

How do you monetize traffic? As an affiliate I found I needed to filter traffic to more serious users. The reason why I use landing pages. It filters out bad traffic, well I kinda learned you have to do that a product launch as well but a little more in-depth. What I mean is you want users that will take action. It all starts from the pre launch, you want users that are always interested in what you have to say or even buy your product.

Well I call this the YES Funnel, just because you want users to say yes all the time. From the beginning you catch your traffic you want them to say yes in some sort of way, entering their email address in an optin, giving them a discount price, asking for a retweet, or something easy like letting them watch a video without anything in return.

By creating a YES funnel you keep their attention until your show them a price of your product or what ever you want to show them on launch. Having users say yes every time you show them something keeps users interested. Let us take a look at this simple funnel:

Watch my free video > no sign up

grab a free tip tactic > optin

new video on how to use …

leave a comment on a blog

retweet video to view

etc..

So every time I send them some sort of content I can ask for an action in return or just show them the information without any action in return, this is called reciprocity. By simply giving things away or having users say yes to all your actions, they feel they need to do something in return – like maybe buy your product on launch day!

But most of the time they will always say yes to any of your actions, as long as it suites them. I have been doing a lot of twitter training and videos and I ask for a retweet before viewing my video and a good percentage will retweet it. This is giving me extra traffic and it is being exchanged by me giving out free and helpful content.

A YES funnel in affiliate marketing is basically a bridge page or jump page for potential users to click through to the offer page. It filters out traffic. But with affiliate marketing there is no chance to create trust with as a longer YES funnel, such as from pre launch to launch to post launch.

Once you create a trust factor most of your users will feel inclined to help you with your endeavors because you have provided excellent content in the past and they do not mind just spreading the word, reason is because they want to share as well.

There are many ways to create a yes funnel, you just have to capture that lead right away by either optins or showing a video for free without optins. If they do not optin they may return if your content is good. RSS readers are considered yes users, because they return and read your blog.

With a pre launch and going into a launch you need and want people that will participate with you, always saying yes to what you have to give them. The reason is because on launch they will be so programmed in saying yes they will buy!

Your audience can vary and everyone that comes to your site are very different in every way. So how can you target the users that are reading your sales page? Well, from my experience I notice and learned there are 3 types of viewers that visit your site. They are the naive readers, scrollers, and visual readers.

These three main types of people are the majority of users that come to your sales page. You need to compel them right away and the reason why you will notice sales pages are written almost in a way where it attracts a majority of the viewers. Every time you go to a sales page you see those centralized big quotes in between normal texts, maybe highlighted yellow with red texts, or maybe it just shorts sales page with more graphics.

So let us dissect the 3 types of viewers that are reading your sales letter. First there are those readers who read your whole sales page from the header to the footer. These viewers will read everything because they do not know who you are or are curious as to what you have to sell, or most likely they just like to read. These are known as the standard reader.

Standard/Naive Readers

These viewers will either read to find something wrong within your sales letter whether it be a spelling error or using a context out of place. They will find something wrong or try to. While others will just read your sales page. These viewers are the most basic and most easy people to sell too because they are spending time on your site.

If they spend more than a minute on your sales page and your copy is selling, on every word they are reading then you can easily make a sale. Using the right context and right attitude in your sales letter can get your viewers to be pushed into a buying mood. You have to get them excited and get them eagerly wanting your product. Again it just takes excitement for a viewer to push them in a buying mood. Your prospects are already on your site because they are interested or curious, which is enough to get them to your site. Now you have to sell once they are on your sales page.

They say it only takes 3 seconds for a person to be interested in your site. Well, it really does and you have to capture them while they are on your site, most of the time these readers are scroller readers.

Scrollers

Scroller readers are the types that scroll through your sales page without reading the header, headline, highlighted texts, they just scroll. So how to you write to these types of people that do not want to even read what you have to say? Simple MAKE IT BOLD AND BIG BUT IN SECTIONS.

You know you see those big bold quotes in the middle of the page that say something like “I Made 1k in 1 Hour” or something like that. It is in the middle of regular texts and it is usually HUGE! The reason this is done because we want the scrollers to read something.

Scrollers are visual readers, so images and big texts is what they are attracted to. That is why testimonial boxes are graphical or a specific color, or that is why you got boxes that are dashed. Scrollers are visual readers. Big texts attracts them.

BUT the big texts has to flow properly with your sales letter you can’t say something at the end of the sales page that is suppose to be at the top. It still needs to flow.

Talking about scrollers as visual readers, visual readers are very picky.

Visual Readers

These are the most picky readers, they only read things that catches their eyes very graphically. For example lists and images with texts are what only attracts these types of readers. They like reading testimonials, ordered lists, and seeing buttons and pictures. That is why ebook covers are important to some sales letters and you see like a library collection of ecovers put together, when in reality its just 1 download.

These visualizers just want to feel your sales page is official. You spend money to create a great product. They stereotype by simply saying that if you do make money you have to spend money for your product. Meaning they want to see a glamoring sales page because you are a so called expert.

They want to assure themselves you spend money to make or claim your expertise in your product. These visual readers just read ordered lists, testimonials, your guarantee, even the HUGE text in between contexts. They even spot out the highlighted yellow but are more geared towards images.

These 3 types of viewers are form my experience and I have made several products in the past with old and new sales pages. So I am just speaking out of my experience. But I believe these are these 3 types of people that come to your sales page and are in the mood to buy or you have to grab their attention.

Now the hard part is to combine your sales page to include all three but flow properly that it doesn’t interrupt the traditional writing flow or sales flow. You should not mention something out of context. Will talk about sales page flow later on.

Another product launch formula by Ian Fernando. Well tonight I will talk about being the expert and letting everyone know that. Also calling out the buyers as ‘lesser’ than you. It plays around with their emotions and it pushes them to become the better person and try your success.

Instigating to someone that you are better, shows off. Remember when you were a kid a bigger person called you a loser and the next day your minute, you want to try your hardest to be the best! Another example is you are the smallest person in a gym and you see all these heavy weight lifters that are bigger than you. The next day you are at the gym you push yourself to do more reps, do more push ups, increase your bench, etc. You want to be at their level or be better!

I personally think this works for almost any niche. Just claim to be better than your target niche.

The above image, shows a small intro and calls out all users that are related to the niche or demographic. Since twitter is a social platform I am at social marketers and branders. The most important part is I am targeting users who want to be experts. The reason for this is because a lot of twitter followers ‘think’ high numbers means big credibility. This is true but to an extent, especially if a follower is interested in gardening but the credible person is a pyro expert.

So the above image targets a specific crowd. Why I do not target marketing in general? Simple cause twitter is not for all marketers, it is mostly used as a communication tool. Marketers market but there are also authors, businesses, public speakers, on twitter – they are more concerned about brand. Which I think was a good move on my part to chose social branders instead of just marketers.

The next image is a quick intro and basically degrading the person that is reading your sales page. I do this because I want to in-fuel the reader and get them active in either buying or

You basically call the person out and instigate that person a second time. The attitude of that person changes but positive for your sales letter. Again it is all about messing with someones head and emotions. These simple texts create almost an animosity between you and your buyers. Your buyers will read on to see what you have to say and see if you are wrong. (reason why yur sales letter needs to be perfectly written to reflect it’s attitude)

By me saying to the buyer they are non credible, I call them a nobody and they sense that right away and they either feel guilt or jealousy. These emotions you want to take advantage of so you can simply leverage it. After such instigating words, your buyers will forget that intro once they start reading through your sales letter.

Now there is also a downside to this because feeling better than someone when you are trying to help them can mean losing customers. Some customers will be full of themselves and won’t even read the sales letter because of such strong headings. I feel that these headings are in the right ‘aura’ and doesn’t harm ones emotions too much. But test several ones out and see which ones work out better.

But I always use some sort of negative instagator between my prodcut and the buyer, it shows that they are the ones that need this product. Remember it is all about targeting and targeting the buyers from just the window shoppers is important.

Continuing with my Product Launch Formula, I want to talk about creating urgency but being valuable. There are a lot of ways to create urgency during pre launch, on launch day, and even post launch. I will discuss all three within this post.

Currently of you got to Twitter Snipe, you will see a coupon being used but it is only active for their first visit. (so if you have bee to TS prior you may or may not see the coupon) This is being used as a way to encourage the user to feel a sense of urgency. It states it as a warning and boldly states that the coupon is only active on their first visit and will not be seen again.

I am creating an importance by stating this coupon will be gone after they leave. If they do leave and come back, it will be gone as the coupon is cookied.

Why do you want the user to feel there is a need for your product? Well you want them to take action right? You want them to purchase your product right? You want to make money right? Well sometimes you just need to mess with their emotions and give them that feeling of urgency when promoting your products.

Making users feel that it is important to take action now than later will help you gaining more sales and even leads. Urgency can be tied in with Scarcity, but that is another topic. Urgency gives you the chance to gain more affiliates, more sales, and ‘right away’ buy now actions.

Using Urgency Prior to Launch:

While you are in the pre launch phase you want to create a hysteria, this way you can get immediate buyers on launch day, better yet get more traffic on launch day. Using it prior to launch is simple, create a need to why your product is far better than others out there. That’s it. Create the need. Its urgent to solve a problem and if it can solve it its basically urgent!

Maybe even creating a contest causes a sense of urgency, only 3 copies will be given away if you participate. Scarcity + Urgency. Only 3 FREE copies will be GIVEN out TODAY. It is urgent to participate because you want the product, but also there are only3 copies being given out.

Using Urgency on Launch Day:

Urgency on launch is really powerful, because so many users do not even read your sales page. Most just go straight to the BUY NOW button. If you can have just a single website with a BUY NOW button and nothing else, as long as you created the hype and urgency. Users will buy on launch day without thinking if there was text or not.

On launch day of Twitter Snipe, I set up an urgency for buyers to get the platform at a super discounted rate! So low that me and Sam were really rethinking if it was good idea. Well it was a good idea because we got a ton of traffic from it as well as buyers. I created a sense of urgency where buyers can get it at a super low cost only if they were the first set of buyers!

By telling users that they are the first 10 buyers to get it at this low rate, then they will almost take action on launch day without thinking. They know this because they were either part of the hype or hysteria.

I personally created a tier system of urgency, first 10 users get it at this rate, next 15 get it at this price, last 20 get it at this price. So they know they still can get some sort of discount but in what phase will they be in?

Using Urgency after Launch:

This is the easiest as there is no maintenance. Unless you want to continue the urgency or if you are closing your doors after X amount of sales or copies, but again still the easiest. Creating this urgency after launch is just asking users feel the need to at least save a couple bucks on their purchase. Everyone loves to save money, why not give it to them. You easily generate a sale and captured a lead. Post launch urgency can either be:

# of sales sold – doors closed

doors closed after X date

Either of these is important and creates that scarcity of urgency. You want users to take action now and not later, urgency + scarcity helps you do that.

Tonight as a matter of fact, while I am still up – we can talk about social proof. Social proof is important because you want to be seen as an expert in your field. Use this as an example, you just landed off a long plane trip and now you are going to grab your luggage to go home. Do you look up at the signs or just follow everyone else? A good percentage probably would just follow the crowd.

This is because we just follow everyone else, we trust their judgment. Why because everyone else is. We tend to just follow the crowd when we are lost, the internet is huge so everyone is lost. We look for that ‘proof’ or that crowd to tell us who is better than another.

Another example, you are at the movies, there are 2 lines, one being longer than the other. What do you think is happening? Which movie do you think is better? Even before knowing the title or asking who is starring, you can pre judge.

The same goes on the internet, we read a blog that is interesting because we see someones RSS readers are far more greater than someone eases. We tend to follow the crowd, in essence we are all followers. Social proof gives you your image right away. On my recent launch, for Twitter Snipe, I wanted to make sure I get social proof. Why? It is simple, it is a social product made for the social marketer or brander. It wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t have any sort of social proof, especially from twitter.

With social proof you can sway a decision pretty easily. One can gain 100% trust in you or call it suspect. With all these users talking about your product and getting a good response from them, you are creating a social atmosphere which everyone wants. Again, everyone is lost on the internet.

Now how do you get social proof? If you have seen some tactics from Jeff Walker, Mike Filsaime, Joel Comm, John Reese. Brad Callen, etc – they create a hysteria. Hype marketing is important in the beginning of launch phase because you want to get everyone involved. Similar to Buzz marketing, Buzz marketing happens prior to Hype marketing.

It is fairly simple to get social proof ask! But what if you do not have a follow or list? Simple give them a reason or create a contest. Contests is the best way or giving something away to create the buzz or hype in order to get social proof. In the past social proof was made via comments. Prior to product launches some sites would get 400 comment responses, now do you think you feel more comfortable watching and reading all these comments. Do you think these comments on the site create that auto trust factor and credibility? Ofcourse it does.

By simply creating a hype where everyone wants to interact is the best way to create yur social proof, these users are interacting and creating the brand and credibility for you. As far as my product launch, I asked twitter users and twitter marketers. I did this without a huge list and with a brand new twitter account, no help from blogs or news sites. Just pure hype marketing.

Remember when someone sees any of your sites they want to see some sort of trust or some sort of crediblity. Comments on blogs shows activity, high rss readers – shows interested readers, pictures with marketing guys – shows your networking skills, etc. Gather your site for some social proof and you can definitely create your brand and crediblity with ease and also see an increase in sales.

A while ago Jani and I have released a new info product to the twittersphere. It was a successful launch. I also recently released Twitter Snipe as well. So I decided to go ahead and talk maybe how to do a product launch via just social traffic. Now it may not be one of those John Reese 1 million dollar profit in a couple hours but we are getting close to it.

So anyways this post will be brief and talk about some basics stuff to a pre launch of a product or web service or even a new blog. Most of the traffic either came from a list that we have built or virally spreading the hype. There are certain aspects I guess when it comes to pre launching a product.

Below is a screenshot of my inbox of the sales of Twitter Traffic Exposed.

Now that I got you excited I will break down some pre launch and launch phases that I have done. During this week, I will post about each individual tactic that I used during this week. There are bunch of things that needs to be done on launch, with yur sales letter, pre launching, and post launch.

If you know, Jeff Walker has recently released Product Launch Formula. His product is very powerful and I definitely recommend it. But I can show you some tactics that I use to get a nice return on launch day and to easily follow up with your leads after launch.

Below are some key things I will talk about this week or coming days, but I will give you a small breakdown of the method talked.

Write your sales letter for 3 types of people visiting your site.
There are 3 types of users that comes to your sales page. They are the naive readers, the scrollers, and the visualizers. Each has to be targeted everytime you write your sales letter, because each user sees something different.

Create scarcity
Creating a scarcity helps boost sales literally right away within seconds of your launch. It creates the tension to the buyer if they should buy now or later.

Add social proof
Social proof makes you more credible, without it means you do not make any sales or even have a brand that is trustworthy. With creating a social proof you put yourself out there as an expert.

Creating some type of ‘yes’ funnel system
Someone that visits your site, already said yes. Now you just have to funnel that to a buyer. These users are dedicated at pre launch, so they wil be following up with you, saying yes everytime to what you are doing. It is just turning those users to buyes.

Adding testimonials for social proof
Social proof is important as I stated. Testimonials are important because you gave your product out to test out and play with to other users. They have teh experience to talk about the product and can vouch for you and your product.

Adding video to create and build trust
Building brand is important and gainin trust. Video gives you the leverage to automatically gain trust and credibility because you are live and not selling in text. It feels to the end user as of you are talking to them.

Build brand with introduction and closing statements
A new user that comes to your sales page does not know who you are or even know if you are an expert. Giving them some sort of small introduction gives them the security that you do know what you are taking about.

Create imagery with lists
A sales page is not complete with a list. A list quickly attract teh eyes and a users attention. If you have a good list then you can point out what are the benefits of your product.

Provide an easy flow Timeline
There is a way to write your sales letter and there has to be a flow going to the buy or purchase button. There has to be way for someone to figure out the problem your product is solving and why it is better than what is already out there.

Proof of Product at work
Case studies of your product or method at work is the best way to show someone how it works and that your system works solid. Proving to a user that your system is flawless is the main key, especially differentiating it from other system that are currently out.

These are somethings to think about. I will talk about some things during this week and go more in depth about each method stated above.

I was watching the games last night, so I apologize for the ‘hysteria’ I may create in the video.

So quickly I want to talk about pricing before we go into promotion and getting traffic to your product, since we have not discussed about pricing in any of the videos I have done. So how do you price your product? There are several factors that I think are important value to the market and time spent on creation. These two are very controversial and can be argued many ways. I see it this way:

How unique is your product to the market?

Are you duplicating a product

How long did it take you or your freelance to create the product?

How much did you pay a freelance to create your product?

How many changes did you have to edit?

What is your competition looking like?

These are the things I look for when trying to price a product, the end price maybe lower than what you expect or even higher. Just don’t let greed take place. You want to price it so that it is reasonable for your buyers to purchase and even enticing for the beggars to buy. Not too high where it will cause curiosity of your brand. Pricing can be a very arguable moment for a marketer but just think about the above factors and you can easily get the right price for your audience.

Now onto Promotion and Marketing

Getting your product notice is very important. I will talk about 3 aspects that I used when promoting and marketing the BANS Themes Package 1. There are 3 things that I think are important to market a product, especially getting a nice initial traffic to your launch.

Enticing the Beggars
This is one of the best traffic sources to get because the beggars are the ones that always want something for free or are the mere testers. The testers become buyers, freeloaders are freeloaders but provide valuable information when doing a case study. Enticing the beggars is simple, give them something for free. Give them a snippet of your ebook, part of an audio, a free template or design.

These end users will be a majority of your traffic and potential buyers, make sure you build trust with them right away. I think it is very important to build trust with the beggars in an early stage because they will want more of what you have, they become addicts.

Have an Affiliate System
Having an affiliate system is crucial because it provides other people marketing your product for you. Instead of you doing all the marketing you have other people doing it for you! If your commission to the affiliate is valuable, as well as the product brand, they will promote your product. I enjoy using $7 Dollar Secret’s Script because it has a built in affiliate system and automates the sales of your digital product securely.

By having others promote for you they get into other markets that might be interested in your product without you evening knowing where the source of traffic is. Other people know other secrets and niches which you may not know, take advantage of other people and use their time.

JV Partner with similar marketers in your niche
This is the biggest part that I think is important next to the 2 above. Partnering with other people in your niche. It is not just telling or emailing people you have an affiliate system and you will give them X amount of the sale. You actually communicate with each other. People think JV partnership is similar to affiliates, I do not think so. It is more towards networking because you help the end user as they help you, there is a bond. Partnering with someone is not just ‘hey I have an affiliate system and I will give you 65%!’ It is called a Joint Venture for a reason. You join together to venture on a project or goal. A lot of marketers get this confuse and think of this as just letting people know about your affiliate system, wrong.

With these aspects of marketing your product you can easily grab buyers and potential buyers to buy your product. These are just 3 simple steps that I find effective and I think will help you succeed with your digital product as well. Since there are multitudes of ways to promote, I think these are important and are the backbone of creating a high effective launch or promotion.
