As you test new offers and find new networks to join. You come across a good offer and want to test its effectiveness on the internet world. So people just throw up a campaign and have it running all the time, which isn’t really optimizing your traffic that much at all. When you look at your data how are you looking at it? What portion of the day are you making most of your income? Do the networks even have day parting technology to help track your trends? If they are using Direct Track, then probably not cause they... While at IZEAFest I was able to grab the whole team from Unique Blog Designs all aside to have a quick discussion about their company. I insisted they owed me a podcast or interview, because I remember when John Chow had his update - I attacked them for an interview. I can imagine their business jumped because of that first design, so I wanted to get their reaction right away. They have done a lot of blogs such as the famous ShoeMoney and John Chow. They add a unique twists to their designs, it isn’t just color is... [Read the full post]

Traveling can be time consuming and especially with trying to keep up with contacts. I have yet to go through the business cards and input them in my contact list. But what about people emailing you, how do you track each person that contact you from a specific event? Well there is the pain staking way of just creating a new email address with maybe the conference name as the contact. Ok, fine, but what if you did not use up all your business cards, it will still have the last conference on that specific card. You can have... [Read the full post]

So as new web services come out to help a specific vertical or niche, sometimes you can use it to your advantage - marketing wise. I use it to find some specific keywords, images, documents, and how popular a phrase. This specific site is meant to help users look up names, celebrities, your name, your boss name, doctors, etc. It is suppose to help pull information about that person, I mean haveĀ you ever... Yesterday was a huge success. I hosted another IANteract Meetup and there was about 17 people that has attended. We actually almost took the whole back end room of Panera Bread, well about half. But we definitely need to find a new spot especially if the meetup starts to grow. Below is a photo of the group, kinda sucks that I didn’t take more photos, but I do have a video. The photo was taken at the end and not at the beginning, so we definitely had more people that who sowed up. Topics of discussions ranged from... [Read the full post]

I have been playing around with PPV lately and I am pleased with the traffic and conversion rates. I honestly wasted around $200 to test a bunch of offers to see what works and what doesn’t until I found a way to get positive conversions, currently 178%. (on one campaign, time stamp: 11/19/08 | 09:57am) It seems there are things on PPV which will work that will not work on PPC or even GCN. Trying to adjust the mindset of thinking PPC to a different source of traffic can be a bit difficult. So I tested a bunch of offers... [Read the full post]
