I just got back from Affiliate Summit 2014 and let me tell you a lot of things has changed since my first affiliate summit. One thing are the type of affiliates and attendees that visit. So many new faces, in essence I was actually excited to speak with 3 great friends in the industry and ones that actually sped up their income within a short amount of time.
I spoke with JJ Allan, Derek Lester, and Bryant Hussey at Affiliate Summit about the Blueprint to hit 7 figures in 12 months. The main objective was to utilize Facebook ads with your own product. With all 4 of us owning our own products in the same space or me specifically in multiple dimensions of the industry.
Bryant was suppose to be the moderator, but I volunteered to moderate to help with interaction of the audience. This specific session was meant to be for the VIP and all access pass holders. We had a great turn around and gave a lot of great information. The hour long session had pure content from true affiliates to now, product owners. We supplied information about Facebook Ads especially with the new changes that had been going on the past month.
More importantly the session was more about how to take your current product and scale it into a bigger business. As you know, I have had several of my own ebooks, memberships sites, and SaaS (which I sold in 2012) now I have my own physical products. So we were able to spread the knowledge to multiple types of products and services. It was a great sessions with even more questions at the end, almost rolling into the next sessions where we had to be told to leave so the next presenter can prep.
I am glad to have spoken and would like to thank Shawn Collins and Missy Ward to have me back to their show since my first speaking session in 2008 Boston.

I speak highly of Affiliate Summit. Even though it has evolved overtime, I am still gaining insights from the people I work with and the affiliates that have survive the hard times in the industry. I am going to post the evolution or maybe do a video next week on affiliate to advertiser because I think that is where affiliates tend to go. Plus it comes with growth overtime. If you were at our session, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
