More and more people are starting to put up their own network, CPA network. It is a great business to be in but from close friends that own their network it is time consuming but has its rewards I guess. I got another network for you to show you today. It is Affiliate Venture Group; I finally got a chance to sign up and got to browse around their network.
So what is this network about? Why another post on another network? Well, there are a ton of networks out there. You just want to make sure you know what to look for. I simply just give you a window view of the network and any experience I have with the specific network.
So let's take a look at Affiliate Venture Group. Looking just at their interface, it is very simple and easy to use. The interesting part is they have a cool sign up process, very unique. Anyway, what does this network have to offer?
Well I got in contact with Ricky Ahuja and he is the Managing Director of Affiliate Venture Group.
So with these networks springing up, what separates Affiliate Venture Group (AVG) from the rest?
Talking to Ricky, they have many exclusive offers which they own. The more popular ones are the payday loans, with some of the highest payouts in the industry. They have staff members who have had over ten years of industry experience and are willing to provide the affiliates with as much information and recommendations to make their campaigns succeed. If you have never driven payday loan traffic this might be the network to help you get started.
Without a network really being the middle person to tell the advertiser what we thought of the offer page. They do have verticals that do well with the network overall such as EDU offers, which is good to get started because the EDU offers will start to die down in trend soon. It’s that time of year.
Other verticals they do well in are Biz Opps, which seems pretty popular lately and Sub Primes. The cash advance industry is entering their hottest season and good time to run this. In addition their payout to their cash advance affiliates is on a weekly basis!
With being a network what tracking system do they use and utilize? Hitpath is the tracking platform they use. It seems to be the preferred and more popular one over Direct Track. I like HitPath it’s an easy to use interface and I like their search functionality.
When first signing up, I thought they had their own internal tracking platform. Usually you can tell what tracking platform they use but the sign up form. But at the end after confirmation and then login in, I realize it was HitPath. So at least it’s not DT.
In addition to the normal AM support, Ricky has informed me of a complete team that is available to handle customer service inquiries, which are available throughout the day. With a majority of the other networks, it rather difficult to get a hold of someone let alone talk to them about your account, campaign, traffic, conversions, etc. With AVG – it is simple as picking up the phone and dialing their toll free number listed on the site.
For their internal offers, they go one step further and provide the necessary details as to why an offer did not convert. This is great because as affiliates we need visibility. Sometimes the advertisers will not provide in depth details to your AM. This means you do not know what to optimize next. With AVG having their own exclusives, it gives you the opportunity to work more closely with the network because you can get that visibility.
Their management team comprising of Ricky Ahuja, Cathie Terry and Debbie Bello which have over 10 years experience each in this market and they go out of our way to accommodate the needs of our partners. Now, I talked to Ricky he is very solid on his words, but I personally have not worked with them just yet. I have browsed their network and offers, but have not pushed any volume. Maybe their edu exclusives may entice me a bit.
