As you may have known my account on both Facebook and Google has been restricted with limitation or just canned. I have expanded my business a lot into many venues and one of them was local advertising for clients. In the beginning of this year I specifically stated that I will be changing my business around and I have already took some steps into that direction.
One of them was taking in local clients. I have had 2 local clients prior and I really didn't have a good experience with them, just the fact they think they know better. I currently am working with a new client now and it has been easier to work with this specific client because they understand.
There is a popular comic out there that basically depicts the traditional client... below is a short snippet of the comic, but here is the full link to the comic.
Since starting some client work I have been overviewing a lot of Shoemoney's old post, Adhustler's blog, and CDF Network's blog. Recently Chad just released a tutorial on how to attack local markets with his Local Lead Plan.
Even the big gurus are talking about doing local advertising for your business because it is the biggest thing to do right now.
Personally I even stated I was diving into local advertising and I have. With the help from Chad answering my noobish questions I learned a couple valuable things.
With his new product Local Lead Plan, he has a bunch of things which can teach you what to look for when it comes to and how to deal with clients and produce results for them.
Here are some things to look out for that is being discussed in his new eBook...
- Chapter 1 Why local lead generation
- Chapter 2 Finding customers
- Chapter 3 The pitch and first proposal
- Chapter 4 They are interested, now what?
- Chapter 5 Pricing leads
- Chapter 6 Website decisions
- Chapter 7 Handling leads - Web
- Chapter 8 Phone leads - Pay per call
... and many more.
This past weekend, while presenting at a Meetup, I was asked a couple questions about local lead advertising, and since I recently just jumped into local advertising - I was able to explain what I have experienced.
Chad has a far more greater experience than I do and has put it all in this 23,000 word eBook. It has a lot of information in it especially sample contracts, template landers, etc.
I personally have known Chad for a long time and he has a lot of great information to share. Definitely check out Local Lead Plan, if you want to expand your business or get into local advertising.
