I love google reader, it lets me know what are the new post on other peoples blog that I follow. There are so many updates that I do not get to go through them all in one viewing. When I do I usually find something that I like to read over and over.
One post by Steve Pavlina, talks about failing, yes he too is a failure at his success. Steve website is more on personal development and improving the person you are. His specific post, Testing to Failure, is about taking the risk to do something to better ourselves. Testing ideas through direct experience is among the best ways to learn and grow. Finding out the end result can also be a fun task.
His post is very helpful because I do most of what he states within his post. Without failures there is no success. Do you think the light bulb was created with 1 try? No, it was figured out after tries, failing at each concept and testing it. Testing and failing is like a game, you always want to win and once you win you fell great!
Here is a snippet from his post:
If you want to get good at anything, remember the mantra, “Stage time! Stage time! Stage time!†Learn by doing. Don’t sit on the sidelines, endlessly vacillating over problems that can be brought to resolution with simple, direct action. You may fail a lot, but that is precisely how you succeed.
You see I base my adventure on trial and errors, because that is the only way to learn. No one will teach me except myself. Even if we have a mentor we would have to test his theory and see what works best for us. Not everyones strategies will work for every single person. Each ones strategy is unique, which is why it sells. Everyone wants to know what another person knows, its a way of expanding growth.
But I will say, failing at success is such a fan task.
