TopOffers Affiliate Network: Creating Sweepstake Profits with Higher Payouts, a Breakdown

By Ian Fernando

There are a lot of offers to promote in the world of affiliate marketing. You can start with CPS, the original style of affiliate marketing or you can start with the easiest way, CPA. I want to share with you an offer that is pretty common to start with as a beginner affiliate. Sweepstakes, it is the easiest offers to work with especially when buying really cheap clicks.

First, take a look at my mini-guide on sweepstakes and why I recommend this to new affiliates in the CPA space. It will give you a great breakdown of what sweepstakes are and what to look for.

What are Sweepstake offers?

Simply put it is a chance to win something for free in exchange for data. The consumer enters their details such as name, phone number, and email for a chance to win the initiated prize. It can be a new trendy phone, a gift card to a popular store, or it can be very specific which targets a very specific audience. Most of the time these offers and prizes are general keeping the audience net wide.

Here is a recent example landing page offer:

Now, there are a lot of networks pushing these offers to provide data to vendors. One network which I have been working with for a while now is TopOffers. I have worked with them with their dating offers and right now, they have been paying me a high payout on SOI (Single Optin) Sweepstake offers.

There are differences when it comes to the type of sweepstakes you want to run. SOI, DOI, CC Submit - each offer type has its own payout level as well because it allows the authenticity of the end user. The purpose of these sweepstake offers is to collect data and the more they verify themselves the higher the payout.

  • SOI is the lowest payout because there is no need to validate the lead.
  • DOI (Double Optin) is a bit higher because in order for the end-user to participate they have to validate their phone number or email, this depends on the advertiser.
  • CC Submit is a credit card submit, which validates their card or puts them on a subscription trial service.

I tend to only work with SOI and DOI, I have done CC submit before but I feel better as an affiliate to just push the lead gen rather than a credit verification.

Now, what type of offers are available and in what country.

They are pretty much everywhere, as companies need data. TopOffers has sweepstake offers in every country and I think one of the higher payouts in the industry.

I usually work directly with the advertiser and TopOffers owns most of their sweepstake offers. This means that if there is a country that you want to run which they do not have, they can create an offer for your traffic source.

TopOffers is very intimate with their affiliates, the web portal has affiliate offers to preview but in order to get your link, you will need to talk to your affiliate manager to let them know how you are going to promote it. For example, what landing page, the traffic source, potential conversions, etc.

They want to make sure you are going to be setting up for success. They are even giving new affiliates $1,000 to those that run sweepstake offers till the end of the year. You have to qualify of course and you can find the terms here.

Now I started running a campaign in an English speaking country, now the USA, have a fixed lander based on what I found from spying and launched. My LP CTR is roughly 30% which is really good for a landing page, it is a very simple survey landing page.

The type of landing page is important because you want to make sure they engage and then after that engagement redirect them to the affiliate offer. Here are some results that I got early on after 24 hours on 20$ ad daily spend.

The traffic source is from 2 ad push networks. So after 24 hours, it converted but still in the negative. It will all be auto blocking sources from these networks.

With help from TopOffers, they can recommend me what I need to adjust as they do see pretty much the same data as I do. Which I can bring back to the networks and they can help me turn off specific sources in bulk.

I am going to test out a new landing page that I found the other day, it's a gamified survey. Truly unique, I think it may work well because it has curiosity with high engagement combined. Yes, it might be a bit longer to get to the CTA, but I think it can do well.

While I let that run, make sure to message TopOffers about their high paying Sweepstake offers. It is a high payout for comparable offers that are currently out in the industry.
