Affiliate marketing and internet marketing in general changes on a day to day basis. So how do I keep up with all the news and trends that are happening? Simply I use the internet. Obviously there is more to that but I simply just go to news aggregators to find what I am looking for and I want to share with you the top places I tend to find what is happening on the net in regards to internet marketing.
Now I have been an avid reader of Affbuzz and I a still am. With the years that have passed new ones have arise and provides me with more up to date information. Below I will break down the 3 affiliate or internet marketing blog aggregators I go to on a daily basis.
Affposts is a new platform by Luke from Peerfly and I think is a great concept. I started using it literally last week and found my self reading it more often. The reason is because it seems to be up to date with new posts. Meaning that new posts appears at the top rather than sponsored positions. The latests posts is at the top and makes it easy for me to see what is good to read.
The site is also pretty interactive. The site fades away when hovering over a blog Rss. The site avatars or icons appear on the boxes of each blog. It also has an email feed where you can enter your email and you get daily notifications of new posts, (not going to give my email to Luke =P) but it is a great feature.
I like reading this site because it has non popular blogs (in our performance space anyways) that can help lead me to new ideas and strategies. I know all the popular blogs out there and they provide great information. There are some that I stop reading but read in the past when I was starting, so this site helps me look at those sites and see what other internet marketing topics are out there.
This format is similar to Affbuzz and still provides great information from across all topics of internet marketing.
MobGrind: Mobile News Aggregator
MobGrind is a project created by Ruck and it has all mobile blogs from the top sites such as Google, Jumptap, etc. There are a lot of companies that are talking about mobile and it is hard to find out who to read but they have a great collection of blogs on there that talks about a lot of great topics. Since mobile is still young I definitely want to absorb as much information as I can.
Ruck did a great job at finding the best blogs to read and aggregated them all in this great site.
There are a lot of blog aggregators out there, I found these 3 to be the best. Affbuzz is a great source and still is, but these new aggregators def improved on the great model Affbuzz provided. With so many blogs out there, you can get lost in information and I found these 3 to be the best when it comes to consolidating the information I need to know on a daily basis. I really find no need for RSS with these sites.
