Start Monitoring YOUR Affiliate Links - Beta Testers Needed!

By Ian Fernando

I recently just released a new software that I personally used to monitor my affiliate link. This tool has been in modification stages to make it look nicer and have a better user interface. Personally I would have made it dumb simple since I would be the only person using it. But at this adtech in San Francisco I soft launched the software, giving it some buzz.

I received a lot of great response from users and even networks about this system as I believe it is one of its kind. The big problem I consistently face is offers going down and never being alerted about it. A networks resolution to this is sending the traffic to an offer wall which will probably never convert. I wrote about these issues several times via this blog and tweeted numerous occasions about it as well.

Since I was not able to find the right tools to help with this problem, I decided to create my own. OfferSnitch.com is now a system which you can monitor your affiliate links of any changes and not just offers going down.

One recent post I wrote about is how 4,400 clicks was redirected to an offer wall and random offers. Even in 2009 I talked about how my own affiliate link got removed and redirected to a dead wall. Here is another post where I started ranting about how networks don't notify affiliates of offer change.

As you can see there are several instances where offers died and pages change but I was not notified. I don't think a publisher is ever notified of any change unless they are working directly with the advertiser and have that close relationship.

Here is a quick run down of the system.

This is a big problem for high volume affiliates and affiliates in general, changes happen and nothing is being passed to the publisher. I had one instance where the offer actually changed. It went from a 3 field submit to a 5 field submit, was I notified no. The reason this is an issue is because my lander was geared towards a 3 field submit. When users ended up going to a 5 field it already becomes non-trustworthy and it was a lost.

So it is important to make sure to be on point with the networks and make sure you monitor your links. This is the reason why I created Offer Snitch for my own personal use. Now I want to share this with you because sooner or later you will probably end up with my situation.

Currently we are looking for some beta testers and would like to know your input. This system works for me and I want to make sure it works for you. So just click on the button below and register for a free account, make sure to post your comments in the forum!
